Tennis Trading Tips – Wimbledon Day Two

pic-wimbledon

Tuesday’s Tips:

Welcome everyone to Day 2 of Wimbledon.

I’m going to add a few extras for Wimbledon. This would include tips to lay 3-0
Set Winners and also Handicap markets which are worth considering.

The 3-0 Set Lay tips would be displayed in short form as ‘3 LAY’
The Handicap Market would be displayed as ‘HCAP’

Take one tip at a time and focus on that for
your trades. As usual, stick to the HOT TIPS more! For the first few
days, we will follow the norm in tips, but as the second round starts,
we will have Back Heavy and some other new strategies as mentioned.

—————————

Before I give the tips, let’s go to some basic reminders for trading:

1. Do not use heavy stakes for the first few days.

2. Delay and trade always, especially in WTA

3. Trade out early if your player seems to have injury concerns

4. If you are already in Green, be bold in laying your player at very low odds.

5. Finally, be patient and take one match at a time.

So, here are today’s tips:

WTA:

1. 11:30 – C.Garcia v J.Zheng:

Lay Zheng@1.63, back@1.85

2. 11:30 – Niculescu v Barthel

Back Barthel @1.63, lay@1.4

3. 11:30 – Puchkova v Rus

Back Puchkova@1.71, lay@1.5

4. 11:30 – Watson v Keys

Back Keys@1.76, lay@1.45

5. 12:45 – Medina v Peng

Back Peng@1.65, lay@1.4

It’s worth considering laying Peng if she wins the first set easily.
This could be a 3 setter.

6. 13:00 – Morita v Erakovic

Back Erakovic@1.47, lay@1.25

7. 14:30 – Kirilenko v Robson

Back Kirilenko@1.44, lay@1.2

Keep Kirilenko side on minimal loss here. Even if she loses the first
set, I feel it’s very unlikely Robson will beat her in 2 sets!

8. 15:45 – Rybarikova v Zahlavova Strycova

Back Rybarikova@1.55, lay@1.35

9. 15:45 – Zakopalova v Hantuchova

Back Hantu@1.48, lay@1.25

Could be a 3 setter. If Hantu wins the
first set very easily, consider laying her at low odds!

10. 17:30 – Lisicki v Schiavone

This tip is given assuming Lisicki has already won the first set. Her
odds pre-match are 1.45.
Assuming the odds have gone down, do the following:

Lay Lisicki@1.16, back@1.4

ATP:

11. 11:30 – Blake v De Bakker

Back Blake@1.73, lay@1.55

12. 11:30 – Dodig v Kohlschreiber

Possibly the match of the day. I wouldn’t be surprised if Dodig wins
this in a tight 5 setter.

It’s worth laying whoever goes to a good lead. That for me is likely
to be Kohlschreiber and hence back him at the start.

Back Kohli@1.51, lay@1.3

13. 11:30 – Duckworth v Kudla

Back Kudla@1.48, lay@1.2

14. 12:45 – Chardy v Harrison

Back Chardy@1.72, lay@1.45

15. 12:45 – Istomin v Seppi

Back Seppi@1.53, lay@1.3

(A likely 5 setter here. If Seppi odds go below 1.03, lay him!)

16. 13:00 – Llodra v Nieminen

Back Llodra@1.65, lay@1.4

17. 14:15 – Haider Maurer v Soeda

Lay Soeda@1.48, back@1.65

18. 15:45 – Berankis v Mathieu

Back Berankis@1.76, lay@1.5

A likely 5 setter here…

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other sites – there may be small price differences – but these should not matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
If you’re unsure about what liquidity is required, see question 17 on my FAQ section at https://tennis-trading-league.com/faq/
