I didn’t trade this one so I’m not sure if this hit our stop loss as Lopez definitely had chances in the first set. After losing it in a tough tie break, this market was definitely one sided so overall I believe you would have got enough chances to make money here by backing him at a slightly higher price, which was rather easy..

3. Cornet v Bouchard: TIP: Back Bouchard@1.5, lay@1.2

Successful: +2.5 units

4. Wawrinka v Istomin: TIP: Lay Wawrinka@1.47, back@1.8

Successful: +3.9 units

I can confirm that this strategy actually did work in our favour as Istomin had chances to break Wawrinka here and odds did jump on Stan. However, there was an injury to Istomin which was a major reason that he lost this in 3 sets..

5. Dimitrov v Mayer: TIP: Lay Dimitrov@1.11, back@1.4

Unsuccessful: -4 units

I did predict Mayer to play well and indeed he did. In fact, he got a break point at a very crucial stage in the first set. However, he simply couldn’t convert any of his chances. This would have been a great market but it wasn’t to be!

6. Smitkova v Safarova: TIP: Lay Safarova@1.24, back@1.

Unsuccessful: -4 units

7. Makarova v Radwanska: TIP: Lay Radwa@1.37, back@1.6

Successful: +3.85 units

Overall: 5/7 successful: +6.55 units
