Results Update 2nd January 2019
It’s been a busy day here at Tennis Trading League. Tennis Goldmine was in full swing with a good few bets. We are also now back to normal with both Trading and Betting Tips sent out to members.
It wasn’t a great day for British tennis as we seen Edmund and Murray exit at Brisbane. No surprise that Murray was taken down by Medvedev who was a very slight favourite. Murray is on a comeback trail and to expect much more would be unrealistic. If he can avoid further injury, expect better from him very soon.
Edmund was a shock exit against Uchiyama of Japan. Edmund made the quarter finals here the past 2 years and was expected to progress. Uchiyama had played a couple of qualifying matches on these courts whereas this was Edmund’s first appearance of the year after a first round bye, which may have been lucky for Uchiyama. Uchiyama plays Chardy in the next round.
I’m glad to say we didn’t have money on either match.
We won one from two in Betting Tips with profit of +9 thanks to an outside bet on Djokovic/Djokovic in the doubles.
Trading Tips were also one from two, this time with a very small loss.
Tennis Goldmine has picked up where it left off in 2018 with a +6.06 day.
This is largely due to the new filters introduced (for Goldmine) this year. Members who applied these filters would have not laid Karlovic, Berdych and Bollelli. These ended with 2 wins and 1 loss meaning a saving of 3.6 points on Goldmine.
