BACK TIPS
WIMBLEDON MENS
1. 11:30 – Chardy v Cilic
Back Cilic@1.35, lay@1.18
2. 11:30 – Lopez v Isner
Back Lopez@1.81, lay@1.4
WOMENS:
3. 13:00 – Cornet v Bouchard
Back Bouchard@1.5, lay@1.2
Definitely expect a 3rd set if Bouchard wins the first easily. I don’t expect her to have it all her own way. A highly profitable market is likely here..
LAY TIPS:
MENS:
4. 11:30 – Wawrinka v Istomin
Lay Wawrinka@1.47, back@1.8
I feel rather strongly that Istomin is a serious challenge to Stan here.. I wouldn’t be too surprised if this one is a 3 set win for Denis..
5. 14:30 – Dimitrov v Mayer
Lay Dimitrov@1.11, back@1.4
I really felt Dimitrov got lucky last time around. Dologopolov was too tired to play on and that was why he lost. However, Leo Mayer has been super so far knocking out some pretty decent players. Dimitrov could be in for a major shock tomorrow.
If Dimitrov wins the first set, definitely lay him here!
WOMENS:
6. 10:30 – Smitkova v Safarova
Lay Safarova@1.24, back@1.5
7. 13:30 – Makarova v Radwanska
Lay Radwanska@1.37, back@1.6
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Low Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Low stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.6, adjust your lay odds to 1.35 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
