DAY 7

MENS:

1. 16:00 – Wawrinka v Baghdatis

Lay Wawrinka@1.42, back@1.65

Could be one of the markets of the day here!

2. 17:15 – Seppi v Istomin

Back Istomin@1.78, lay@1.4

A tough match to call..I’d go for Seppi in 5 but Istomin to start better!

3. 18:30 – Donskoy v Hewitt

BACK HEAVY!

BH Hewitt@1.38, lay@1.15

Hewitt beating Del Potro in the last match was no joke. He played
superbly and he looks like he can be a serious challenger!

I expect him to win today!

4. 18:45 – Haas v Youzhny

Back Haas@1.52, lay@1.2

I feel Haas is the better player here..

5. 20:00 – Smyczek v Granollers

Lay Granollers@1.64, back @2

I feel Smyczek has the goods to cause an upset here!

WOMENS:

6. 17:30 – Suarez Navarro v Kerber

I feel Kerber will win this..

Back Kerber@1.56, lay@1.2

7. 19:30 – Serena v Sloane Stephens

There are two things you can apply here..

(a) Lay Serena for a small liability before the match starts

Lay Serena@1.11, back @1.3

(b) Wait out the first set entirely. If Serena wins it easily Lay her!

Supposing after the first set her odds fell to 1.03, lay @1.03, back@1.12

I feel overall laying Serena is a good strategy and a calculated risk
as Sloane has really looked good after a shaky first round!

8. 20:15 – Radwanska v Makarova

I am definitely going to suggest laying Radwanska here as Makarova
beating Lisicki wasn’t easy! Her serves were really on the mark. On
the contrary Radwanska just squeezed past Pavlyuchenkova and her
serves can be shaky. Whoever serves better here
will win !

Lay Radwa@1.28, back@1.5

9. 01:30 – Jankovic v Li

I expect a very tight match. Overall Li is the better player for me here..

Back Li@1.43, lay@1.2

Definitely consider a 3rd set!

HOT TIPS: Hewitt, Kerber and Tommy Haas!

EXTRA TIP ON OUTRIGHT MARKETS:

At this stage in the tournament, I think it’s wise to back a few players.

In the Men’s, I suggest backing Andy Murray. His odds are around 5.5
now and I feel it will go down! Looking at the quarters, I feel Andy’s
draw seems most comfortable compared to the other favourites. Djokovic
may possibly have trouble against Tommy Haas (assuming Haas gets past
Youzhny!).

In the Women’s, it is good to back Azarenka @ 4. The main reason for
this is that Serena may have trouble today against Stephens.
Also, the Dark Horse in Women’s could be Kerber this year. I feel she
has been very aggressive. Her odds at the moment are around 80 so it
maybe worth investing a few quid on her now..

The Dark Horse in the Men’s could be Milos Raonic. He looks to be
adapting well to these hard courts and if his serves are in the Zone,
he will be a tough cookie to crack!

Good luck all !
