PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW
ATP BARCELONA (CLAY):
1. 16:30 – Nishikori v Andujar –> HOT TIP
Andujar stunned David Ferrer in 2 sets yesterday but he now faces the defending champion, Kei Nishikori who has really played well at Barcelona.
Overall, this looks like an easy one to call in Kei’s favour.
—> Back Nishi @1.22, lay @1.1
ATP BRD NASTASE OPEN (CLAY):
2. 11:45 – Vesely v Garcia Lopez
All three matches between these two were played on clay. While Garcia took the first 2, Vesely took the most recent one in 2013. By form, I feel Garcia is likely to win this one especially if it goes to a 3rd set, but at the start, I favour Vesely to shine.
—> Lay Garcia Lopez @1.77, back @2.5
WTA STUTTGART (CLAY):
3. 13:30 – Kerber v Wozniacki
While Kerber has played exceptionally well, it’s fair to say that Wozniacki should be the slight favourite here as she knocked out a very tough Simona Halep.
What was most impressive in that match was her serves and if she can continue that sort of consistency she can win this match which I feel will very likely go the distance.
—> Back Wozniacki @1.83, lay @1.45
Definitely consider laying the 1st set winner!
Good luck!
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
