US OPEN FINAL DAY
22: 00 – Novak Djokovic v Rafael Nadal
I personally find this match a bit hard to call. No Backing Heavy here
at the start.
However my best suggestion is to go with the player who has the form
behind him at the start, and that’s Rafa Nadal. The guy is unbeaten on Hard Courts
all year and is showing some of his best tennis ever.
Advice 1 – Initial Strategy : Back Rafa@1.75, lay@1.5
Second advice for me is to lay the winner of the first set straight
away. So if Rafa wins let’s say 6-3, lay him.
Advice 2: Lay Rafa if he wins the first set. Give advance prices in
the range 1.3 – 1.4
If Djokovic wins, you can lay him (with more money) as I feel Rafa
fighting back is easier to assume.
Third advice would be to lay whoever is leading 2 sets to 1. This is
mainly applicable if Djokovic is the leader after 3 sets.
Advice 3: Assuming Djokovic leads 2-1 immediately lay him for a good amount.
If Rafa is leading, I ask you to be a bit more patient and lay only
smaller amounts as the risks are higher.
Advice 4: If either player takes a 2-0 set lead and the match eventually goes
to a 5th set, back that particular player at the start of the fifth.
It’s possible he has conserved more energy for the 5th.
Example: So if Djokovic has taken a 2 set lead and Rafa has stormed
back to take 3rd and 4th, back Djokovic at the start of the 5th.
This indeed could end up as a cracking match so consider laying at
small odds on either player. I personally would say to give advance
lay price of 1.1 on either player at the start of the match just in
case you miss it later!
My personal prediction would be Djokovic to beat Nadal in a thrilling 5 setter!
Good luck!
