Some Terms Explained:
Back: Low Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Low stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – Worth considering laying the winner (or backing the loser) of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.6, adjust your lay odds to 1.35 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.

I don’t understand women’s tennis… what went wrong with Sam Stosur in that particular match? Haven’t seen it on TV, but its a huge surprise if the fav loses a set 0-6, isn’t it? All parameters shew advanteges for Sam…
Hi Christian – as I just said in another comment, I didn’t get much chance to trade yesterday so didn’t see the match either. But, of course, you’re right..it’s unusual for a favourite (at odds below 1.4) to lose that badly. Just reading some articles suggests she was outplayed and no mention of an injury. I really believed she would turn her form around this tournament – especially with the French Open fast approaching but she didnt do that. We will have to keep an eye on her form in upcoming tournaments…
