LAY TIPS
MENS:
10. 11:30 – Anderson v Vasselin
Lay Anderson@1.46, back@1.95
There are good reasons to lay Anderson today – Vasselin is always a dangerous opponent!
WOMENS:
11. 17:00 – Kirilenko v Peng
Lay Kiri@1.74, back@2.3
12. 17:45 – Wozniacki v Broady
Lay Wozniacki@1.1, back@1.5
I was hugely impressed by Broady in her first round. This may still end up as a win for Caroline but the start could be rather tricky here. If Wozniacki odds go down straight away, consider layign something on her!
Wouldn’t be surprised if Broady snatches this one in 3 sets!
GOOD LUCK !
Some Terms Explained:
Back: Low Stakes – use 10% of bank.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Lay: Low stakes – use 10% of bank.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake.
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.6, adjust your lay odds to 1.35 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
