FRENCH OPEN DAY 14:
1. 13:00 – Serena Williams vs Lucie Safarova
Including the Hopman Cup results, Serena Williams leads 10-0 in head to head stats against the very talented Lucie Safarova.
While Safarova has tested Serena on Hard Courts a few times, she was blown away on both the 2 clay court matches these two have played. In fact the scorelines were 6-0 6-1 and 6-4 6-1.
I can understand the pricing here at 1.4 for Serena, as Safarova did knock out Sharapova and Ivanovic, two extremely tough Clay Court players. However, since this is a Grandslam Finale, you have to go for the best player in the World coming away with a win as it is quite possible Serena may not get another chance to win the French Open with her career running out of time.
Go for the American to lift the trophy tomorrow ..
—> Back Serena @1.4, lay @1.18

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
