PLEASE NOTE, IF THERE ARE LIQUIDITY ISSUES, ALWAYS KEEP THE STAKES LOW

US OPEN

WOMEN:

1. 16:00 – Kasatkina v Mladenovic

Kasatkina beat two very tricky opponents in Gavrilova and Konjuh so far. While Mladenovic should be the right favourite, she did show a bit of concern against Jovanovski in the previous match.

I’m going for a calculated risk on laying the favourite here as the first set could turn out to be profitable.

—> Lay Mladenovic @1.4, Back @1.85

2. 19:45 – Kontaveit vs Brengle

While Brengle sneaked past Zheng in the first round, Kontaveit had no problem in knocking out two really competitive players, Dellacqua and an in-form Pavlyuchenkova.

Prefer laying Brengle as the market is likely to fluctuate at the start.

—> Lay Brengle @1.85, Back @2.6

3. 22:00 – Keys v Radwanska

Radwanska breezed past two tough challengers in Siniakova and Linette and has generally looked pretty consistent. I agree with these odds and suggest backing her against an inconsistent Keys at the start.

—> Back Radwa @1.62, Lay @1.3

MENS:

4. 16:00 – Paire v Robredo

I am not sure why this market is favouring Robredo as Paire has been thoroughly impressive in recent months and also caused the biggest upset of the tournament by knocking out Nishikori.

Suggest laying Robredo here as the start is likely to favour Paire due to his consistent serves.

—> Lay Robredo @1.7, Back @2.4

Good luck!

Some Terms Explained:

Back: Normal Stakes – use 10% of bank with Stop loss at 40%.
Back Heavy(BH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade. Use Stop Loss at 40% unless stated otherwise.
Lay: Normal stakes – use 10% of bank with Stop Loss at 40%.
Lay Heavy(LH) – use up to 30% of bank. Used at members discretion. Delay and Trade. Use Stop Loss at 40% unless stated otherwise.
Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
No Stop Loss Suggested – Use of Stop Loss is not recommended for this tip. Use half Normal Stake.

Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake, when stop loss is used

All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.

Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely.  Please read the relevant article below.

Help and Advice: Tennis Trading Tip – Successful or not?

Some folks have asked why I call the tips ‘Betfair Tennis Trading Tips’ and have asked if the tips can be used on other betting exchanges. I use Betfair for all my trading because Betfair has the best liquidity. All of my prices are taken from Betfair.
Betfair Tennis Trading gives you the best opportunities to make profits. You can use the trading tips on other exchanges – there may be small price differences – but these shouldn’t matter. If you decide to use a site other that Betfair for trading, make sure that the liquidity is there.
If you’re unsure about what liquidity is required, see question 17 on my FAQ section at https://tennis-trading-league.com/faq/
