US OPEN
WOMEN:
1. 16:00 – Vecino v Jovanovski
Neither player has been consistent in the past few weeks. I feel the favourite deserve to be laid here in what could be a very tight first set.
–> Lay Vecino @1.84, Back @2.2
2. 19:45 – Bouchard v Riske
Bouchard’s form has simply evaporated in recent months. Rather opt for Riske at the start here..
–> Lay Bouchard @1.9, Back @2.4
3. 19:45 – Hercog v Diyas
A possible 3rd set here, but the start would probably favour the better serving Hercog.
–> Back Hercog @1.6, Lay @1.3
4. 20:30 – Vandeweghe v Stephens –> HOT TIP
I definitely agree with the pricing here that Stephens should be a heavy favourite. Suggesting to back her as this could be a tournament to remember for Sloane.
–> Back Stephens @1.3, Lay @1.1
5. 20:30 – Kozlova v Mattek Sands
Mattek Sands lost her previous 2 matches on hard courts but I think it’s irrelevant coming into her home tournament. Suggesting to lay Kozlova as I think the first set could be tricky indeed.
–> Lay Koz @1.74, Back @2.2
6. 22:00 – Konjuh v Maria
Konjuh is constantly improving her game and is definitely the better and more consistent server. Go for the favourite hence.
–> Back Konjuh @1.56, Lay @1.25
MENS:
7. 21:15 – Fognini v Johnson –> NO STOP LOSS SUGGESTED
Fognini has 2 straight losses on hard courts recently. Johnson on the other hand had impressive wins against Groth and even Jo Wilfred Tsonga at Winston Salem.
Agreeing that the American is the right favourite here.
–> Back Johnson @1.43, Lay @1.18
Good luck!

Likely 3 Setter – consider laying the winner of the first set.
Hot Tip – I have more confidence in these tips. However, use normal stake sizes.
No Stop Loss Suggested – Use of Stop Loss is not recommended for this tip. Use half Normal Stake.
Tips are deemed unsuccessful at 40% loss of stake, when stop loss is used
All odds shown with the tips are correct at time of publishing. Odds are often given several hours ahead of the event. If odds have changed, adjust your back/lay stake accordingly e.g. if I tip ‘Back at 1.5, Lay at 1.25’ – and back odds move to 1.55, adjust your lay odds to 1.3 – there are still 25 ticks between the back and lay odds.
Delay and Trade!! It’s OK to place your trades before the match starts, but in my opinion, waiting 2/3 games before placing your trades is the safest way to trade. This is advised in many of the articles below. To delay and trade will give you a good feel for the match. Delay and Trade is a MUST if you are Backing Heavy. Delaying is advised mostly for the women’s game, as early breaks of serve are more likely. Please read the relevant article below.
