Wednesday’s Tips:
Welcome everyone to Day 3 of Wimbledon.
I’m going to add a few extras for Wimbledon. This would include tips to lay 3-0
Set Winners and also Handicap markets which are worth considering.
The 3-0 Set Lay tips would be displayed in short form as ‘3 LAY’
The Handicap Market would be displayed as ‘HCAP’
Take one tip at a time and focus on that for
your trades. As usual, stick to the HOT TIPS more! For the first few
days, we will follow the norm in tips, but as the second round starts,
we will have Back Heavy and some other new strategies as mentioned.
Day 3 is about to begin and its worth increasing the stakes a tiny
nod. All the low stakes matches from now on can be considered for
medium stakes or more.(Please remember this decision is left to you as
always). Also remember once your target for the day has been achieved,
I highly recommend you to sit out the day instead of chasing more
markets. Yesterday we had the perfect start and at one point it looked
as we might break the bank. Unfortunately for us a few huge favourites
lost, or else our stats could have been much more interesting, even though it was still a very profitable day. So
stick to your money management plans and keep it easy once you’ve
achieved your targets!!
Before I give the tips for today, I want to point out one player in
the Outright Market. The player is Feliciano Lopez and he looks in
amazing form coming into this tournament. I would like you all to
invest a small amount (as small as 1-5 units if you wish!) by staking in the Men’s Outright.
The market is mentioned as ‘Wimbledon Mens 2013 – Men’s Tournament
Winner’ in the Tennis section on Betfair. I would like you all to give
a back price of 700 on Lopez there hoping it will get matched. It’s
possible it may not but it’s definitely worth putting it now as this
is the right time.
On to the tips for today…
All times are UK/Irish and are subject to change:
ATP:
1. 11:30 – Stepanek v Janowicz:
Lay Jano@1.71, back@2
If Jano wins the first two sets, consider 3 LAY (laying the 3-0 set
betting market)
2. 11:30 – Troicki v Kuznetsov
BACK HEAVY:
BH Troicki @1.45, lay@1.2
In the event Troicki loses the first set, do not trade out unless he
has an injury in the 2nd set.
3. 13:00 – Verdasco v Benneteau
Option 1: Supposing Verdasco wins the first 2 sets, 3 LAY this market
Also consider LAYING the Match Odds market for a few units.
Option 2: Worth considering this to be LAID HEAVY early onl
Either way I am expecting Benneteau to become favourite in this match
hence laying Verdasco is the right Strategy.
Lay / LH Verdasco@1.9, back@2.2
4. 14:15 – Monaco v Ram
BACK HEAVY MARKET:
BH on Monaco@1.35, lay@1.1
5. 14:00 – Melzer v Reister
Overall Melzer is the better player
Back Melzer@1.6, lay@1.3
WTA:
6. 11:00 – Suarez Navarro v Lucic Baroni
LAY HEAVY:
LH Suarez@1.64, back@1.8
Definitely consider laying Lucic if she wins the first set easily!!
7. 11:30 – Cornet v Hsieh
Lay Hsieh@1.71, back@1.9
8. 14:30 – Stephens v Petkovic
Lay Stephens@1.67, back@1.85
9. 16:00 – Kvitova v Shvedova
Possibly one of the markets of the day!
Lay Kvitova@1.46, back@1.7
If Shvedova serves well don’t be surprised if Kvitova loses this in 2
sets! Still, I expect a 3 setter…
10. 16:15 – Giorgi v Cirstea
BACK HEAVY:
BHCirstea@1.57, lay@1.35
11. 17:30 – Jovanovski v Flipkens
Back Flipkens@1.5, lay@1.3
If Flipkens storms to huge lead, consider laying her at very low odds
of 1.05 or less!! This could be a great match for trading…
BACK / LAY HEAVY MATCHES GIVEN:
BH Troicki, LH Verdasco, BH Monaco, LH Suarez Navarro, BH Cirstea
Good luck for all matches!!
